AdorationSearch.org is developed and maintained as a ministry by Adoration Servants, a Catholic 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization devoted exclusively to supporting and promoting Eucharistic Adoration.
I founded Adoration Servants more than 20 years ago, and since then we have worked to help bring people into the Real Presence of Our Lord in Eucharistic Adoration.
Our mission is to help bring souls into the Real Presence of Our Lord Jesus Christ in the Blessed Sacrament; to make reparation for those who are lukewarm toward this great gift of God Himself; and to console our Eucharistic Lord by visiting Him in Adoration more than we ever have before, as requested in the Devotion to the Sacred Heart.
AdorationSearch combines location, distance, dates, and actual Adoration schedules to help you quickly find a chapel where Eucharistic Adoration is available. Whether you are at home, traveling across town, or making a pilgrimage across the country, our goal is to help you find Adoration wherever and whenever you are.
During the recently completed three-year National Eucharistic Revival, we were asked to prepare recommendations for what should come after the Revival. And here we are. The extensive work involved in preparing those recommendations brought to light how much more of a life priority this work should be for us than it had ever been before.
In addition, during the final year of the Eucharistic Revival, we presented a Three-Day Eucharistic Mission that included a presentation based on extensive study of the often-forgotten messages found in the Devotion to the Sacred Heart.
We are developing
Ora Cor Adoration (“Prayer to the Heart in Adoration”) to explore more deeply the Devotion to the Sacred Heart and the often-forgotten lament of Jesus that even Catholics who believe in the Real Presence can become lukewarm and neglect to visit Our Lord in Eucharistic Adoration.
When our studies made us realize
We all suffer from The Flaw.
This moved us profoundly. We came to understand that our efforts could no longer be limited to what our available time, treasure, and talents happened to permit. We needed to give beyond that—like the widow who gave from all she had in Luke 21:1–4. Ouch!
AdorationSearch.org grew out of a very practical, personal need. When traveling, I wanted to attend Eucharistic Adoration wherever I happened to be. I did not want simply a directory of Catholic churches or chapels that I then had to research and slog through one by one.
I wanted to know: Where can I go to Eucharistic Adoration right now? Or even more so, where can I go to Eucharistic Adoration next week while I am out of town. I do not want to mess around. Do all the dirty work for me that I would have to do if all I have is a big list or map of chapels, or even a small list or map of chapels.
When I travel to anywhere, for whatever reason, the Adoration Search Mobile App will tell me where the nearest Adoration Chapel is that is open today. In effect, the job of the mobiie app is to tell you:
"Hey! There is an open adoration chapel a mile away from you! Go to Eucharistic Adoration!"
That experience became the idea behind AdorationSearch.org. We had this for a few years prior to COVID in select dioceses. We resurrected it after COVID at the request of one of those dioceses we supported. But this time we expanded to cover the entire United States and Canada.
The purpose of AdorationSearch.org is not simply to maintain a directory. Our mission is to help bring souls into the Real Presence of Jesus Christ in the Blessed Sacrament more often than they have ever been before. We want to help everyone make Eucharistic Adoration as WAY OF LIFE!
Adoration Servants provides more help for adorers than this Adoration Search site. As our name implies, we are here to serve.
We have a never-ending workload all dedicated to Eucharistic Adoration. We are especially excited about our Eucharistic Pilgrimage feature on Adoration Search. We can use your help as well.
